2010 BNI Central & Northeast Florida Member Extravaganza Winner!
We are proud to announce Paula Cowart, from the Fortune Advocates chapter, as our 2010 Member Extravaganza winner. Between March 29 and May 28 Paula sponsored 3 new members into her chapter. The Fortune Advocates currently has a total of 52 members! To note, Paula is also the President for her chapter.
Paula and a guest will enjoy a trip to New Orleans in October.

Paula Cowart of Designers Press Inc. Winner of
2010 BNI Central and Northeast Florida Member Extravaganza
Orlando & Jacksonville, Florida – June 30, 2010– BNI (Business Network International) Central and Northeast Florida is proud to announce that Paula Cowart, of Designers Press Inc. and member of the Fortune Advocates chapter of BNI has been selected as the winner of this year’s Member Extravaganza.
The BNI Member Extravaganza ran from March 29 – May 28, 2010 and between that timeframe chapters throughout the region competed with one another aiming to add six new members to their chapters to qualify for the drawing. All members who were listed as a sponsor on new member applications received a chance in the drawing for each new member that they sponsored into their chapter. The grand prize is a four day three night trip for two to New Orleans, Louisiana. The winners and their guests will stay at the Hotel Monteleone located in the historical French Quarter. The trip includes round trip transfers, hotel and a workshop and breakfast hosted by BNI Founder and Chairman, Dr. Ivan Misner.
Paula Cowart has been a BNI member for three years and is also the President of her chapter. Paula sponsored 3 new members into her chapter helping to bring the Fortune Advocates chapter to a solid 52 members! In New Orleans, Paula will be joined by 200 plus BNI Member Extravaganza winners from around the country.

Orlando, Florida - January 14, 2010– BNI (Business Network International), the world’s largest international networking organization specializing in business referrals among members will host its fourth annual International Networking Week February 1 – 5, featuring a number of events across the world. In honor of International Networking Week, BNI Central Florida will host its exclusive event on February 2, 2010 from 5:30 – 7:30pm at the Orlando Airport Marriott in Orlando, Florida. The event will feature guest speaker Iain Whyte, Executive Director for BNI Scotland and Author of Life, Business and Speedboat.
Guest speaker Iain Whyte was born and raised in Aberdeen, Scotland and brings to Orlando many years of experience within BNI, networking internationally and training. As the featured speaker, Iain will discuss building customer confidence in both life and business. According to Iain, confidence, is a two-way process in business and by building ones individual confidence, one can build their prospects’ and clients’ confidence in them as well.
The goal of International Networking Week is to raise the awareness of networking in the larger community, recognizing it as an essential tool in the success of businesses worldwide. The event is an opportunity for BNI members and guests of the community to network with each other, to understand the concept of good networking in order to grow their individual businesses.
